The S2 is the latest generation of SPR line boring machines, with top of the line electric line boring capabilities. With a smaller profile, lighter design, and stiffer frame than its predecessor, the S2 redefines user friendliness. The S2 also comes standard with a split style bar coupler that provides easier connections to the bar, reduces vibrations when cutting, while providing additional degrees of tolerance during set up.
The S2 has also taken dramatic steps to improve line boring accuracy. The new Control Pendant and Digital Read Out Display (DRO) give the operator precise levels of control for RPMs, Feed Rates, Travel Distance, Load the machine is under while cutting, and Start/Stop locations. The S2 is also capable of automatically taking cuts and returning to the starting position for a repeat pass with Cycle Mode.

The SPR York 4-14 ET (electric touch) portable line boring machine is a proven line boring workhorse. Developed to perform on-site line boring and site repair, its strong and portable frame helps you and your team reduce repair times and heavy equipment downtime.
With a standard 14 in (358 mm) of travel length, outfitted with a variable speed 3HP electric motor, and easy to use digital controls, the 4-14ET it fit to handle the toughest jobs.
The 4-14 ET can be paired with our wide range of boring bars, bearings, facing tools, and accessories to perform in virtually ever application available. The 4-14 ET is available in 110V and 230V power supply options and can also be outfitted with our hydraulic motor.
Diameter Range: 2.25in – 24in (63.5mm – 609.6mm)
Built to the handle the toughest jobs, the hydraulically powered 4-14HD takes line boring to the next level. With up to 351 ft-lbs of torque at the bar and a feed motor that delivers 30 ft-lbs of torque, large diameter and heavy cuts are made easy. The feed system comes in two different options, the manually control machine for use with a 5hp hydraulic power unit and the proportional control via control pendant for use with the 10hp hydraulic power unit.
The 4-14HD is available with variable motor RPMs, Hydraulic Power Units, and feed control methods to your application and needs.
The 4-14HD is compatible with all other 4-14 bars, accessories, and tooling.
Diameter Range: 7.5in – 36in (190.5mm – 914.4mm)
The SPR 12-36 Line Boring Machine steps up to the next level for line boring applications. Capable of machining from 7.5in – 36in, the 12-36 utilizes a 3in boring bar with twin lead screws for even and consistent feeding across the length of the bar.
The 12-36 is powered by 10HP Hydraulic Power Unit, capable of producing 20 – 125 RPMs and a variable feed rate of .0375in/min – 5.5in/min.
Using the provided bearings and slotting bearing plates, the 12-36 can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical applications, and precisely adjusted to your specific requirements. Optional facing tool attachment available.
Diameter Range: 10.5in – 60in (266.7mm – 1524mm)
Utilizing a 5in boring bar design, the LBM-1500 is capable of handling some of the largest line boring applications with ease and precision. With up to 5ft in available machining diameter, the LMB-1500 uses a twin lead screw 5in boring bar, X/Y adjustable mounting plates and bearings, with hydraulically power feed and rotation.
The LBM-1500 is powered by a 20HP Hydraulic Power Unit, capable of producing up to 64 RPMs and a variable feed rate of 0in/min – 0.4in/min.
Using the provided bearings and slotting bearing plates, the LBM-1500 can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical applications, and precisely adjusted to your specific requirements. Optional facing tool attachment available.
